Very friendly staff, we even met the Chef. Everyone, four of us, got something different. I got the St Louis ribs, collard greens, and field peas. The hush puppies were off the hook! Everything was delicious and savory! If I lived here , this place would be part of my everyday living.
A great spot. Loved the hole in the wall feel. Everyone working there was so nice. Got the Monday meatloaf special which was incredibly tasty. Side of slaw (great classic slaw) and fried okra (delicious). Wish I had a larger stomach so I could try more.
I am going to be dreaming about that fried chicken for a while. The mac & cheese and the hush puppies were also quite good. I guess I like hush puppies now!
This little place is an amazing find. The service is top notch, from the moment you walk in the door the staff is warm and welcoming. The Carolina BBQ and St Louis style ribs are amazing. They are tender, flavorful and fresh.
My wedding was yesterday and we catered Ole Time BBQ, people RAVED about the food! It was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the process was simple and stress free. 10/10 overall!
